I’ve bought several of these double-ruffled caps. They’re my favorite…easy to wear and flattering. Good price, too.
My 18th-century wardrobe includes more than a dozen caps—some I’ve hand-sewn, and some I’ve purchased, from various sources. This particular cap turns out to be my favorite, so I’ve returned to buy a couple more. It’s flattering and roomy—and looks particularly nice with a ribbon & bow. Keep the ruffles fanning in opposite directions (as shown here), or press them to go the same way. (The price is pretty competitive, too!)
However, I had to take it up around the edges because I must have a tiney head. Also made me look like a dork but that is not the caps’s problem!
