These breeches are being discontinued and are not eligible for returns or exchanges as of 2/15/2024. We are discontinuing these breeches because the cotton canvas was not typical during the 18th century. We offer the breeches in Linen and Wool.
The sturdy brown cotton and matching covered buttons make this style of breech perfect for 18th-century civilian impressions. The cotton is durable while still affording comfort and natural fiber material.

They fit a little larger around the waist even with the tie than I had expected, and I wish the knee openings were smaller/tighter which would look closer to period correct britches. I realize that I ordered a larger waist size, however my knees and legs are not equally large, so the knees are very baggy. I ended up tying them up with ribbon gaiters which is fine, but I would have preferred to have them cut trimmer for a more period and still comfortably fit.
These are the best breeches around, especially for the price. My partner wears them often at least once a week and he finds them to be comfortable. They are flattering and the bum area isn't too poufy like some other breeches can be. Shipping is always very fast too I usually get the item within 48 hours of ordering which is crazy fast.
