Leather Bottle

Leather bottles have been around for centuries and were very popular during the 17th and 18th centuries. They insulate well and were easily repaired unlike the glass or wood counterparts. In fact, there are multiple songs praising the leather bottle.

Our leather bottles are all handmade and lined with a modern food grade resin that simulates the look of an original pitch but is much tougher.

    Good bottles

I got a few of the bottles at the Ft. Frederick Market Fair this year as gifts and a couple for myself to use at events and the Renn Fair this year. I find them to be very handy to clip on to my belt under my kilt and they carry enough water to get me through the day with maybe one refill. The only drawback... no stopper. I went to my local DIY store and had to find a cork to fit each bottle as I have no woodworking skills or equipment. Other than that, I'm very pleased overall with them.
