I ordered both sizes of these mugs- 2 of the small and 2 of the large. They are well crafted, each great examples of handmade pottery. The base of the mugs are wider than the top which gives them a very solid- stately feel. We use them up at our log cabin and also on our regular table. The flawless glaze is a rich glossy black and they mix well with various table settings because of their beautiful simplicity. The small mug is very close in size to a traditional mug, just a tad bit bigger since the bottom is wide. The large mug is fantastic for bigger hands, lots of coffee or for soup! Items are well pack and the shipping is lightning fast! These mugs were worth the investment for they have become our very good friends! :D I'm so happy I stumbled upon these!!
