Linen Cotton Shirt

This natural colored lightweight linen cotton blend shirt is perfect for any 18th century man as linen would have been the most common fabric. The neck is open without a button so one can be added to fit the wearer if they so choose. There are triangle gussets under the arms, indicative of the 18th century, and shoulder reinforcements to make the shirt more durable. The sleeves are held closed with small pewter buttons at the cuff.

    Great service

I ignored a prior comment about these running large. I’m 5’11” 265 and 2xl is usually snug. Here it was enormous. Samson cheerfully sent me an xl and it is still roomy but I like it. Nice thin fabric. Could use a button near the neck, but overall I’m very pleased. Thanks Samson.

Excellent service. They definitely want to please the customer. Thanks for that special extra touch.

    Good Shirt

I got my shirt in a timely manner and put it through the wash and it turned out to be a very, very comfortable shirt. The size is spot on. I had ordered a 2X and it was way too large, so I returned it and got a XL. The comfort is just great!! I wore it to the last couple of weekends of my local Renn Faire with a great kilt and I was very comfortable all day. All in all, well worth the price.
