Write letters or journal entries all day and night with a wood pen. The turned handle rests comfortably in your hand while the ink flows nicely through the pen nub onto your paper. Writing with a quill or pen like this can take a little getting used to but the end result is elegant penmanship.
Don't forget some ink and an inkwell.

Dennis N. Great reenactment purchase!
Again, Samson Historical has succeeded in reproducing the 18th century wooden pen. I've looked around for this reproduction but Samson was the only company that has it. I have tested this pen and yes! It's great! Thanks to all of the folks at Samson for having it! Great job everyone!
