Two layers of shelves hold up to four pens. To get your collection started we have included a wood pen with a metal nib. There is a small ceramic basin in the end that can hold a small amount of ink. Though the square section can fit our cobalt blue square glass inkwell, but not the clear. The box locks shut when the shelves are aligned and the lid slid into place.
The overall box is the perfect travel size at 11.5 inches long.

Bought this to add to my presentation "kit" as well as to have for writing. Well made box, slides smoothly and fits the great wooden pen. Ink pot is a nice touch (a cork would be a nice addition for unused ink) Can't wait to try it out (bought some powdered ink as well)

While I have not yet brought to an event, the box neatly stores my pens and inkwell and swivels closed perfectly.
