Short gowns are incredibly versatile in sizing because they are pinned closed. This one comes with 5 straight pins to get you started. As you can see, you can add a little flare to the sleeve with a quick roll or leave them down. This shot cotton has a green warp and deep purple weft making it absolutely gorgeous in the sun.

The gown is very nice and well-made. It is easy to adjust for any body size/type and very easy to clean. I enjoy how bright the color is and how well it reflects the time period.

The shot cotton used to make this short gown is gorgeous, especially in the sun! It's a beautiful green shot with blue, and when worn with a blue petticoat, it really shows off the fabric. I love everything I've purchased from Samson Historical. The customer service is amazing, too. When you dress in 18th century clothing for work, it's wonderful to have a company like this to buy from. These short gowns are also the perfect weight. Wonderful for summer heat, but layer for colder weather! I loved this one so much I bought another in the color "Lake".
