A Nifty Little Item.
It's functional. And it will hold your ink. But the lid is not tight, so I expect your ink will evaporate if you do not use it everyday, which is what an 18 century person would have done. It's beautiful cobalt blue colour will also look nice as a window ornament.

This goes very nicely with my writing desk that i purchased from Samson. It is also well crafted.
