The beautiful reproduction pocket watch (oftentimes called a pocket-clock at the beginning of the period) can accent any man or woman's impression. The face and body style is replicated from an original. Although, this is a battery-operated reproduction pocket watch. The numbers have the four written as "IIII" instead of "IV" as correct for the 18th century.
For the price, I was expecting a basic pocket watch suitable for reenacting. Instead this is a really nice quality pocket clock. It's solid, has a glass face cover, and has real heft. It does have the modern convince of being battery driven, which is nice, but otherwise it has a true historical feel.
This clock is absolutely perfect, it keeps the time and is never off. I get a lot of compliments when I show it to people. I really highly recommend it. Thanks Samson for another wonderful item.
