Picking a gift that will sweep her off her feet can be daunting. We have a list of some of our favorite items for every interest and time period. Classic standards like jewelry are always a safe bet, but do not discount something she can use every day, like the frail.
1) Defiant Brides - This book gives the story of two revolutionary women and their role in the battle for a new nation. If first hand accounts are more her style, Women's Early American Historical Narratives, and Women's Indian Captivity Narratives both include heavy primary source excerpts from actual women in the period. $22 before sale
2) Natural Dye Kit - This kit helps her to use natural dyes on things like yarn, or scarves to really make them her own. Each color makes enough to dye a 100g skein of yarn. Luckily our three different undyed yarns make great stocking stuffers! The heritage British, Bluefaced/Corriedale, and the linsey-woolsey blend each have their own beautiful character when dyed. $32 weekend special
3) Frail - These handwoven baskets were used during the 18th Century to carry all kinds of items and come in a variety of sizes. We find them handy even at the local farmer's market. Our recommendation? Fill it with gifts and place it thoughtfully under the tree for her to find on Christmas morning. $28 - $60 before sale
4) Pearl Necklace - This timeless treasure will come out whenever she needs to dress up. When paired with simple seed pearl earrings, this set is classic in any era. Red or Green more to her liking? These Swarovski glass sets are stunning options. $55 before sale
5) Stoneware Tea Set - The hand-thrown stoneware teapot is ideal for not only preparing but serving a lovely tea. The teapot will hold enough water to fill each of the 4 teacups at least once. $175 before sale
