These 8 oz sugar loaves are made in Mexico using the same processes that have been used for hundreds of years and are likely what we see advertised as "brown sugar" loaves in newspapers of the period. This less refined form of sugar is similar in flavor to muscovado sugar and is derived from sugar cane. Add a bit of this to your tea, coffee, or baking for another level of flavor.
These come individually wrapped in black paper and sealed with our wax seal.
Everything arrived in a timely manner and the items were of good quality. I’ll shop here again.
I am afraid I have not used it yet but I ordered two and the second one went to a friend for Christmas as a gift! She was surprised and delighted! She can’t wait to try it! We are both historical food enthusiasts so they will be used and I will amend this review when we do! Cheers and Happy New Year
I love having to scrape off the sugar from the cone for my cuppa' tea. It's wonderfully timeless!
