    Setting Your Table

It's that time of year again! Family and friends are gathering near to celebrate the spirit of the season, and many of us are putting on our hosting hats. As we approach holiday gatherings, we find it necessary to put history on the table. Though Christmas and Thanksgiving as we know them today were not celebrated in the 18th Century, there are still plenty of opportunities to bring a cozy Colonial American touch to your table setting. Below are our recommendations for beautiful decor with a touch of history.

    1. Queen Anne Pewter Dinner Plate - An excellent reproduction of an upscale Queen Anne Pewter plate, these are 10 1/2 inches in diameter and add an elegant touch to your period inspired table. $85

    2. Stoneware Teapot and Cups - New to Samson Historical, this stoneware teapot and cup set will add beautiful color and craftsmanship to your Holiday table. Coffee or tea, it's sure to be a favorite.  $175

    3. Pewter Butter Plate and Salad Plate - What plate should you use to display your homemade butter from our tabletop butter churn? Our new Queen Anne Pewter Butter Plate, of course! Add in the Queen Anne Salad Plate, and you will have a full set.  $35, $15

    4. Small Wine Glass - Available for a limited time only! These small wine glasses are hand blown and hold up to 7oz of your favorite white or red. The stem and "V" shaped vessel are very commonly seen in the 18th and early 19th Century.  $10
