Soak these 1-7/8ths inch brown sugar keepers in water for 15 minutes, dry, and put one on top of the inside of your brown sugar to help keep it from hardening into clumps. Each little disk will keep moisture levels stable for up to three months when stored inside an airtight container. If the sugar begins to harden, re-soak these terra cotta brown sugar preservers and use them again.
