Nice design lantern, but the workmanship is mediocre Would rather have glass panels, easier to clean and maintain the plastic, that mars easily The catch to hold the door closed only depends upon the cotter pin spread (minimally) in the back and that should be a bigger catch You do have a great Catalogue which we enjoy With a wonderful selection of products Make a higher quality lantern, and charge more

Well i have to be quite honest, when I took the lantern out of the box it was leaning to the right of the access door. So I completely looked it it over on the top and found nothing when i flipped over to my surprise the pegs for the legs were missing front and back . This was no big deal what so ever. So i handmade two pegs and stained them now it's level. Like I said it was no big deal. Other than that this is one beautiful lantern and i highly recommend it. Also the the price is very reasonable, other's i look at were $78 on up. For the price of $48 you can't go wrong. I'll always continue to do business with Samson Historical
