1720's Love Cards

Originally, these cards were printed from copper plates engraved by John Lenthall in 1720. Reproduced from the original deck, the cards have a heavy Greek mythological influence in the images and the captions are all little sayings to do with love. The value of the cards is depicted in the upper corner by a normal suit card image.

These make a fun deck to read through or play with. Take turns drawing cards and reciting the catchy prose.

    Cool

Quite different in appearance from other playing cards. Great gift for someone who is a history buff, or just likes something different.
