Knee breeches were a common pant in the 18th century, and are appropriate for French and Indian War through the American Revolution. These are made of a very nice medium weight 80/20 linen cotton with matching covered buttons and fit true to waist size in inches.

    Additional sizing information:

The size of the breeches is in inches with the gusset completely closed. To find your size, measure around your waist where the breeches will sit. Then enter that number below to verify your size.

      A Perfect Fit

Because I live in a hot weather climate (North Texas), I wanted to add a pair of linen knee breeches to my wardrobe. These fit perfectly, and they look more stylish than the ones I have in cotton canvas. I plan to wear them at an upcoming outdoor Fourth of July event, where I will relate the experience of my Revolutionary War ancestor, Richard Cheshire, who served in the North Carolina militia.
