The cocked hat, also referred to as a Tricorne or Tricorner hat was very popular with military and civilian men during the 1700's. The hat is unlined and does not have any trim, as depicted. These are made out of 100% real wool felt and each one is handmade at Samson Historical.
Great quality and speed dispatch. The hat was too small, sitting on top of my head but a hat stretcher rectified that. Very pleased and I highly recommend it.

I thank you very much for your delivery of my order of a Cocked Hat that arrived in Switzerland in very outstanding conditions. It’s really a very nice hat and I really enjoy it. It remembers me “The Patriot” movie with Mel Gibson and Heath Ledger who wear similar crocked hats ;-)
