This particular version is modeled after one popular in France in the 16th century and by the 18th century had gained popularity in England and the colonies by the 18th century. This particular toy is appropriate for almost any post 1600 impression.

This cup and ball is about 6" tall.

Fun Fact: In France these were referred to as a "bilboquet" which is why we sometimes hear them called a bilbo catcher.

    Hours of entertainment!

Purchased this Wood cup and ball too add to our collection of historical replication toys for our history events. It was such a huge hit with children and adults alike. I'm wishing now I would have bought extra so more of our visitors could enjoy them at the same time. Great buy! Well made product!
